I’ve whipped up this super simple shower puff pattern for you all to kick off the free patterns I will be providing on this blog!
You can pop the shower puff in the washing machine to clean it, and it also features a handy hanging loop.
You will need the following to make this shower puff:
Approx 50g of DK Cotton Yarn
4mm Crochet Hook
Darning Needle (to sew in the ends)
1 ) Ch 6 and join to make a ring with a sl st into the first ch.
2) Ch3 (counts as first treble), 1tr into the ring, ch20, sl st back into the top of the previous tr (this creates the hanging loop), tr into the ring 33 more times (35 stitches total)
3) Ch3, 2tr in the same st, 3tr in every remaining st, join with sl st to the top of the initial ch3.
4) Ch3, 3tr in the same st, 4tr in every remaining st, join with sl st to the top of the initial ch3.
Cut yarn and sew in end.
Fluff up your shower puff to give it the perfect wavy texture.
And there you have it!
One super simple shower puff completed. I’d advise to make a handful of these, then there’s always one ready to be used while the others are in the wash. Please ensure you follow the washing instructions on your choice of yarn.
I’d love to see pictures of your puffs! Please share them on Instagram, using the tag #thetreblewithches
